Why UV Lash Lamps Are Controversial

UV lash lamps operate by emitting light at a specific wavelength, typically 395m, to cure adhesives quickly and effectively. This falls within the UVA spectrum, which is less intense than UVB and UVC rays but still requires caution to prevent potential risks associated with ultraviolet exposure.

1. Use Only When Necessary:
   Activate the lamp only for the short curing period (1-2 seconds) to limit
   UV exposure.
2. Wear Protective Gear: UV-blocking glasses a pair is provided in your kit but also prescription glasses with UV protection is ok. 
3. Strategic Placement: Position the lamp so that only the lash area is exposed to UV light, avoiding contact with surrounding skin.
4. Limit Direct Skin Exposure: While the risk is minimal with 395m light, prolonged exposure could still contribute to skin damage over time.
